Creating a Reward Word

When we’re training our dogs, in order to keep things clear, we need to create a word that means “That was the right thing!“

Often we find ourselves correcting our dogs, so we need to create opportunities to tell them what we want to happen, and creating a ‘reward word’ is how we do that.

Use some of your dogs daily food allowance, no need for fancy treats!

Don’t frustrate you dog with long sessions, keep them short 3 – 5 minutes 4 times a day is a good start.
