Welcome to The K9 Personal Trainer
By booking a session and exchanging payment, you are agreeing to the following terms. These are designed to ensure a clear, respectful, and successful working relationship; for you, your dog, and your trainer.
🐾 Training Approach
At The K9 Personal Trainer, I work with your dog, not against them.
- I use the L.I.F.E.™ training model: Least Inhibitive, Functionally Effective.
- This means kind, ethical, and science-backed techniques that consider your dog’s emotional and physical wellbeing.
- I do not offer “quick fixes.” I create treatment plans, not miracles, because lasting change takes time, teamwork, and understanding.
📞 Communication Hours
You’re welcome to get in touch, but here are our boundaries for responses:
- Standard reply times are Monday to Thursday, 10am–4pm.
- Messages sent outside these hours may still be responded to, but this should be considered a bonus rather than a guarantee.
📅 Session Bookings & Rearrangements
I aim to be flexible and understanding, especially for those living with fluctuating conditions.
- Sessions that have already been paid for can be rearranged up to 24 hours in advance at no extra cost.
- If sessions are rearranged five times in a row, I may charge a fee or pause further bookings to discuss commitment and fit.
🚗 Travel & Mileage
- In-person sessions over 30 minutes’ drive from Gobowen, Oswestry will incur a mileage fee (quoted in advance).
- Online sessions are always available and may be suggested for ease, accessibility, or efficiency.
♿ Health & Accessibility
As someone living with dynamic disabilities and chronic illness, I bring deep empathy and flexibility to the table. I understand how everything has to be planned and one little thing can effect days and weeks not merely hours.
- Occasionally, sessions may need to be rearranged from our side. Your understanding is appreciated, and the same flexibility is extended to you.
- I believe shared experience strengthens the support we can offer each other.
🤝 What We Ask From You
- Please engage with the training plan consistently and communicate openly about your dog’s behaviour and progress.
- Remember: long-term success requires commitment, patience, and partnership.
If you have any questions about these terms, feel free to get in touch during communication hours. I am here to help you and your dog succeed, together.
